Our early involvement in the project, during the conceptual design phase, when important and fundamental decisions are made, is crucial to a successful outcome. From the outset, however complex the project, we make it our business to gain a comprehensive appreciation of architectural form and function. We make a point of understanding the needs of the client, by listening carefully to what they want. We consider the range of design and construction options appropriate to the circumstances so that the solution is always tailored to the specific demands of the project.

 

In our design response, we recognize the importance of imagination, innovation, buildability, environmental sensitivity and accurate documentation. We are acutely aware of the financial realities of the outcomes of the design process. Accordingly, we apply sound, practical engineering skills and judgment to ensure that a balance is achieved between practicality and cost-effectiveness.
