Cuthbertson Associates, founded in 1992, is engaged solely in the practice of consulting structural engineering. Since inception our approach has been the same: maintain a high quality and responsive service, achieve our clients objectives, and deliver cost-effective and environmentally sustainable design solutions.

We provide specialist services to a diverse range of clients in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors working within the built environment. We operate nationally across Australia but are not geographically restrained and have undertaken commissions in South East Asia and the Middle East.

Our commissions are extensive and varied. They encompass a wide variety of buildings and structures and include apartments, schools, hotels, office buildings, supermarkets, shopping centres, institutional buildings, industrial buildings and warehouses.

Our designs incorporate a broad range of materials including structural steel, reinforced concrete, timber, masonry, stone, alloys and composites. We have the capability to design structural systems which involve a greater complexity in the application of analysis and design techniques. These include space frames, thin walled structures, prestressed concrete, earth retaining structures and composite timber. We use the latest industry-standard computer software packages for modeling, analysis, design and drafting.
